Its four sealing lips reduce friction and spiral failure compared with a standard O-ring and give strong sealing even at low pressure. It fits standard O-ring grooves and is widely used for dynamic sealing.
작동 원리 & 구조Principle & Structure
단면이 원형이 아닌 X(4-로브) 형태로, 그루브에 압축되면 접촉면이 안쪽과 바깥쪽 두 지점으로 나뉘어 생깁니다. 접촉 면적은 늘고 개별 접촉압은 분산되어, 동일 압축률의 오링보다 마찰과 마모가 줄어듭니다.The cross-section is four-lobed (X-shaped) rather than round, so once compressed in the groove it forms two separate sealing contact lines instead of one. The larger, split contact area lowers unit contact pressure and reduces friction and wear compared with a round-section O-ring under the same compression.
